Château des Sarrins, a France-based wine estate owned by Bruno Paillard, has rolled out its first vintage, Cotes de Provence Grande Cuvee Rose 2012, after being given the organic status.

When the wine estate was first purchased by Paillard in 1995, the vineyard was planted with Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Another area of the vineyard was planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Ugni Blanc. Later, the Ugni Blanc and the Carignan (except a 50yo vine) were replaced by Syrahs, Mourvèdres et Rolles.

Located in the village of Saint Antonin du Var, the estate currently has 25ha of vineyards, a new winemaking facility and is known for following organic winemaking principles.

The new wine, Cotes de Provence Grande Cuvee Rose 2012, is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvedre and Rolle.
